River Community Church Food Pantry
River Community Church established a Food Pantry in 2015 to serve Ascension Parish and the surrounding area. Through this ministry we are able to provide assistance to those in need and is currently operated by our church Pantry Team.
Food assistance is currently available by appointment only with pickups occurring on Saturday’s from 11am-1pm. Our food pantry does not deliver to homes.
If you are in need of assistance we encourage you to simply fill out the contact form by clicking the button below. Once you contact us, a food pantry team member will reach out to you within 1-3 days to schedule a pickup time.
The parishes we serve include Ascension Parish, East Baton Rouge Parish, West Baton Rouge Parish, Iberville Parish, and Livingston Parish.
Food Pantry Donations
Our Food Pantry operates solely on food donations from members of our church and the local community. If you are interested in donating food, we appreciate your generosity. We accept non-perishable items only along with various essential toiletries. We encourage you to call the church (225)744-4367 to schedule a time to drop off your food donation.
We also accept financial donations to use towards the purpose of serving those that utilize our Food Pantry. Financial donations are used to purchase additional food and supplies. To make a monetary donation, simply click the button below!
