Welcome

Sunday Worship Service (9:00 & 10:45)

We are committed to building up the Church and glorifying God through worship that is meaningful, heartfelt, and relevant. While our dress is casual and our atmosphere warm and friendly, we are passionate about worship.

Music: Our worship music combines the richness of traditional lyrics with music that is contemporary and beautiful. Guitars, drums, violin, mandolin, and wind instruments are all used to raise the artistry and beauty of our praise and worship.

Communion:  Communion is celebrated at each worship service. The Lord’s table is open to all those from any Christian tradition or denomination who have been baptized.  We remember that access to the table is not a right conferred upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love.

Offering: As an act of worship, we bring our monetary tithes (the Biblical 10%) and offerings each Sunday morning.   We give graciously and cheerfully, as the Lord has blessed us.  If you are a guest of the church, you are not obligated to participate in the offering, but are welcome to join us in worshipping this way. Messages: The center of our worship service is Biblical teaching. Each week we are amazed at how this ancient text speaks with authority and relevance in our daily lives. Through these messages, God challenges us, inspires us, and gives us course corrections and encouragement for the journey.

RiverKidz Nursery and Toddler 1(9:00 & 10:45):

Even the littlest children need to know about Jesus and his love for them.  Using Gospel Light’s Little Blessings curriculum, your infants and one-year olds are nurtured physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  This 2-year long program, organized by monthly themes, uses simple activities and music along with colorful visuals to encourage the children to take their first steps toward learning about God.

RiverKidz Toddler 2 (9:00 & 10:45):

We share God’s Word with your two-year olds through the God Loves Me program by Faith Alive Christian Resources.  This program has fifty-two Bible storybooks that are beautifully written and illustrated.  Following each Bible story are activities that help children respond with their eyes, ears, hands, and feet!

RiverKidz Preschool (9:00 & 10:45):

We share God’s Word with your preschoolers by using the Walk With Me curriculum by Faith Alive Christian Resources. This program:

Grows faith by guiding children to ask, “What does God’s Word mean for me now – today – and how should I act on it?”

Celebrates diversity by challenging the children to see truths and hear stories in ways that may be new to them – and through their learning to grow in a love of and appreciation for all parts of God’s family.

Is fun!  Classes are full of action with lots of games, drama, music, and other fun activities.

RiverLand K-5th Grade (10:45):
We use Great Commission Publication's Christ-centered, Show Me Jesus curriculum. With separate classes for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd-3rd, and 4th-5th, the lessons are distinctly designed for each level in the most doctrinally sound, spiritually nourishing, and interactive way. The curriculum teaches the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, with many colorful visual aids and student, hands on materials. We encourage parents to use the weekly take home pages to participate in our journey with the children in learning to trust, obey, and worship God.

Middle School (10:45):
Middle schoolers meet on Sunday mornings at 10:45. They begin with the adults in the morning worship service. After a time of worship through music, they are dismissed for their own time of teaching and small group discussion.

High School:
High school students do not meet on Sunday mornings.  Instead, they are treated as young adults—trained for and involved in ministry in the church—including audio/video, drama, children’s ministry, etc.

We'd love to have you join us!
